I had been looking for a change in employment for some time and was eager to find an employer that would not only meet my expectations, but more importantly match my skill set. As a recruiter Van Rath took the time to meet with me in person, find out more about what I wanted, and highlight the opportunities available to me.

VanRath kept in close, regular contact with me via meetings, phone calls and email, promptly setting up interviews with potential employers. I have dealt with other recruiters in the past but I have found that they are inefficient, impersonal and basically trying to get people into any job they can for the commission. With VanRath they took the time to listen to me and from day one I felt that they had my best intentions in mind.

I had always thought that it was not a good idea to try and find a job via a recruitment company, I don't know why, I just had this perception. However my experience with Vanrath was excellent. I provided my CV to them and it was a very short timeframe until I was offered a job with another company. If I had any questions on the particular company they were always able to answer it. Overall my experience with Vanrath was a good one.

Often recruiters can become just one more interface making it harder to find the job you like, but with VanRath my experience has been a genuinely positive one. That's really not easy as it requires carefully listening (and understanding) on behalf of the recruiter and then a clear communication of that information to potential employers. It also means that the recruiter's emphasis shifts from trying to fill positions for an employer to finding a role for the employee. Ultimately that leads to a better match and all parties benefit.

Don't be misled into thinking these are just nice words from a satisfied customer, I have dealt with VanRath before when I decided in the end to turn down an offer. Throughout that time I was also afforded the same courtesy and interest from VanRath. I would highly recommend them.
