Our client is a leading software development and consultancy house with an excellent reputation for providing high-end, cutting-edge services and products to the financial services sector, in particular within the investment banking arena.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in some of the most fast-paced, dynamic locations in the world including Manhattan, the City of London and Tokyo.

Due to sustained growth and a wealth of new projects there are immediate requirements for experienced Java Engineers to join the development team. These opportunities are some of the best on the market and we are ideally looking for IT graduates with strong academics who have a number of years experience in project environments and are seeking a solid career move with excellent training and development opportunities. Applicants will need the following:

- Strong academic background, ideally with maths at A level
- 2 years experience in Java / J2EE / Swing applications with a focus on front-end GUI development
- Solid grasp of Design Patterns and source code control
- Experience with Unit Testing, Agile Development and test driven development

Ideally candidates will have experience with C++ or .Net and some experience within the field of financial services.
