Van Rath IT have been retained by one of the fastest growing product software houses in Belfast to help grow an already successful world class product software team.

Our clients business has grown in Belfast to over 60 highly skilled Engineers in the last 5 years and hopes to double this again in the next few years.

Globally they are well know for their excellent work in the E-commerce sector and have partnerships with leading Brands across the world.

The Company develop software services for massive brands and companies in the US and across the globe.

In a further period of exciting growth in Belfast they are looking for a number of Software Engineer with backgrounds in Java/C# or C++.

Successful candidates will work on improving and expanding our clients market leading product and be involved in new greenfield development projects.

Suitable candidates should have;

* 3+ years experience in Object Oriented programming preferably Java/J2EE or C#/C++
* Relational database design and SQL programming.
* Development experience on a Unix/Linux environment.
* Team player and good communication skills.
* Excellent software architecture, implementation, and problem solving skills.

Desirable:

* Web development skills in HTML, CSS and Javascript.
* Web application development skills in AJAX and/or Flex.
* Experience in JSP 2.0, Servlets, and custom tag libraries.
* JBoss, Apache experience.
* Oracle and/or MySQL experience.
* IBM Cognos Business Intelligence experience.
* LDAP / Active Directory experience.
* Experience developing for a SaaS/hosted environment.
