In a further period of exciting growth in Belfast they are looking for a Cognos/Business Intelligence Architect

Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the architectural design of complex solutions is consistent with the component architecture, providing guidance and refinements on the modeling and design process and ensuring that the architecture fully covers all requirements.

Requirements

* Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
* Experience of dimensional modelling, data warehouse development methodologies and complex cube implementation.
* Experience using Oracle modeling, data management, simulation, workflow and end-user analysis tools
* Experience working with large data sets and high volume reporting
* Ability to assess, design and lead improvement efforts for ETL and reporting solution
* Prior experience of architecting Business Intelligence solutions
* Prior experience interacting with business users
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data analysis information to a wide range of business users.

Desirable

* Cognos project experience (model development to complex cube development)

* Experience as a Software Architect
* Experience as a Software Engineer
